Your perfect match, from parcel to batch

Send a parcel.
Share the ride.

Mooovuka matches your parcel with a vetted independent transporter - from a scooter to a truck - and shows your price before you confirm. When parcels share a trip, everyone's fare comes down.

Booking is through the Mooovuka app, launching soon. Prefer to write to us? smt@mooovuka.com

How it works

Three steps. No guesswork.

Everything happens in the app, and you see the price before anything is confirmed.

  1. Tell us what you're sending

Add the pick-up and drop-off addresses, choose the parcel size and take a photo. We show you the fare for each vehicle that can carry it.

  2. Choose how it travels

Need it now? Transporters nearby offer to take it and you choose one. Can it wait a little? Share a trip with other parcels and pay less.

  3. Follow it to the door

Watch your transporter on the map. The receiver gets a one-time code, and you keep a digital waybill of the delivery.

Two ways to send

Quick when it can't wait. Batch when it can.

Quick Delivery

On demand, one parcel

Post your parcel and available transporters near you offer to collect it. You choose the offer you like and the transporter heads your way.

  • You approve who carries your parcel
  • Optional: schedule the pick-up for today or tomorrow
  • Live tracking from collection to delivery
Batch Delivery

Share the trip, lower the fare

A transporter proposes a collection day and a one-hour window. Other parcels along the same route can join the run, and the more that share it, the lower each fare.

  • Send several parcels to different people in one booking
  • You accept the collection time before it's confirmed
  • Every parcel is tracked and verified on its own

The right vehicle for the size of your parcel, so you never pay for a truck to carry an envelope.

Trust & safety

Built so the right parcel reaches the right person.

Transporters are vetted before they work

Identity and licence verification, vehicle details, and a criminal-record certificate that our team reviews. Bakkie, van and truck transporters must also hold goods-in-transit insurance.

Checked at pick-up and drop-off

A parcel code or QR code confirms the right parcel at collection. The receiver gets a one-time code, and the transporter's face is checked against their profile.

Photos and a digital waybill

The transporter takes photos at both ends, and every completed job produces a waybill you can keep.

A panic button for transporters

Transporters can raise a safety alert during a delivery, and our operations team sees it immediately.

Who it's for

Built for the way South Africa actually sends things.

Small online sellers

Send orders without a courier contract. Sharing trips keeps the cost of everyday parcels down.

Shops & traders

Restock, return or deliver locally with a vehicle that suits the load.

Businesses that send often

Send many parcels in one order, follow each one, and keep a digital waybill for every delivery.

Sending for a business?

Mooovuka is a marketplace: you decide which deliveries to take, and you keep the tips in full.

  • Accept or decline any job - there's no minimum
  • Paid into your bank account after each completed delivery
  • Optional batch runs let you plan a route and fill the empty leg
  • Scooters, cars, bakkies, vans and trucks all welcome

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks first.

When can I start sending parcels?

Mooovuka is launching soon. Email smt@mooovuka.com and we'll let you know as soon as the app is ready.

Where will Mooovuka operate?

We're launching in South Africa and will announce our first areas soon. Tell us where you'd like us to start by emailing smt@mooovuka.com.

How is my price worked out?

From the real road distance between pick-up and drop-off, the size of your parcel and the vehicle it needs. You see the price before you confirm, and it includes everything: the transporter, our service and card costs (see prices and refunds). In a Batch run, the fare comes down as more customers share the trip.

How do I pay, and when am I charged?

By card, in the app. You enter your card details on our payment provider's secure page. When you book you can add an optional tip for your transporter, shown in rand. Your card is authorised when you book and charged only when the parcel is delivered, for the final price plus any tip. Your bank may show a slightly higher amount on hold until then; anything not charged is released.

What if I need to cancel?

Before a transporter accepts, you're refunded in full. After they accept but before pick-up starts, half the fare is kept. Once pick-up has started, a booking can't be cancelled. Read the details.

What if my parcel is lost or damaged?

Transporters report incidents with photos, our team reviews every one, and you can submit a claim in the app. Claims are handled within the limits in our Terms of Service, which you accept when you sign up. Please read them before you send.

Is my parcel insured?

Bakkie, van and truck transporters must carry goods-in-transit insurance. Scooter, motorbike and car transporters may or may not. Our responsibility for a parcel is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

What can't I send?

Illegal goods, drugs or medication, firearms, weapons or ammunition, explosives or hazardous goods, cash or bank cards, jewellery or other valuables, and live animals.

How are transporters checked?

They verify their identity and licence, register their vehicle, provide a criminal-record certificate that our team reviews, and are face-checked against their profile photo at collection and delivery.

Can my business use Mooovuka?

Yes. Send many parcels in one order, track each one and keep a digital waybill for every delivery. Tell us what your business needs at smt@mooovuka.com.

How do I become a transporter?

Apply in the app once we launch, or email us now to register your interest. You'll verify your ID and licence, register your vehicle and provide a criminal-record certificate.
